Movie Plex will have a seasonal summer event (vs. a random monthly update) "Blockbuster Movie Fest" with items from many different blockbuster movies that happened this year so far. Also adding a perm shop of candy and popcorn themes. |  Cinderella | July 27, 2012 Blockbuster Hit (Gear) Coming to a Future near You!Hey there, power people! It’s everyone’s favorite Cinderella, here with your fix of Design Notes! In addition to releasing a bunch of new daily items, we’ll be adding a permanent shop to the MoviePlex: a concession stand filled with popcorn and candy-themed treats! The Blockbuster event will feature references to several movies, as well as items from well-known summer blockbusters (Flying Squirrel Man anyone?) but once they’re gone they’re gone. Not to fret: we’ll be updating the MoviePlex with nifty items referencing films that come to theaters throughout the year.
| Randor the Red | July 13, 2012 Friday 13th!Its the last Friday the 13th of this year and we added alot of new goodies! drDOT and Wonderp Bread worked hard getting many things as possible done. Already they are working on Movie Plex items and so is Polistar who has been visiting the AE lab this week. Next week we will be back to working on minor game fixes and Daily Shop updates. Question should we move the Daily (Ramdom) Shop to its own location "The Lost and Found Shop? Many keep asking for RARES besides the seasonal and event rares. So for only for this Friday 13th and one more time during PumpCON can you get the cool Black Cat Outfit after which will be removed forever!
When the Summer Break Shop ends the Movie Plex will be updated. We have plans to add a perm shop and have Summer Blockbuster Hits seaonal shop (much like the Morph Head Shop and Summer Break Shop). So each Summer not one but many of the blockbuster hit movies will have items that can be found and unlike the Summer Break shop all items in the Blockbuster Hits Shop are perm RARE! Working on game fixes next week will give our artists more time to get many items done as possible. More details shall be explained in upcoming Design Notes. As our long time players know that Postmaster General is a mod who helps alot with HS testing, but did you know he also loves doing artwork! As of now he will also be making items and learning along side the HS team. As always enjoy the game and have fun!
| Randor the Red | May 25, 2012 Daily Shop and Memorial DayMany asked to have an armor set added to the Daily Shop and so Polistar has created the "Practel Enforcer Gear" in both CC and non-CC versions. Also keep an eye out each day for the matching helms and weapons!
Been a busy week but Zheenx and Polistar have made some Memorial Day items. Expect to see a shop on Sunday. Wow alot of people were excited to see bows come to HersoSmash :) So I will be adding some to the Daily shop as soon they are setup (there will be a fire and water theme ones by Zheenx, they are really cool looking!) For all those that celebrate Memorial Day have a great weekend!

(One part the "Core" is found in the Daily Shop) | Randor the Red | March 09, 2012 An update you Axed?Tonight when the Daily Shop rolls the dice and updates (Midnight - Eastern Standard Time) you will find the Axe Bladed Swords! get them quickly as they go random 24h hours after that! (Faction and CC versions) below you see Axe-bladed Swords. Also can be found in the Daily Shop are Double-bladed Axes (one even doubles up for double trouble!) As usual the Daily Shop displays items each day at random so check it out each day until you find what you looking for!

The next upcoming Battle will have some changes as you the players will fight to customize a new gear set! (More on this next round). Also keep an eye on the Daily Shop as I added some new Chakrams! | Randor the Red | February 23, 2012 Hero Heart Day EndedHope all enjoyed the Hero heart Day items! The shop now gone until next year. Keep an eye out on the Daily Shop as I will be throwing in some special items called Basic and Legendary Power Cores for both Good and Evil doers! So what are Power cores for? Will they will be one of the pieces needed to forge (merge) an upcoming item, which will be hard to get as the rest of the pieces could be anywhere (drops, quest, etc.). The rest of the parts needed will not be ingame just yet (will post when that happens) but since the Daily Shop is random I giving you the chance to hunt for the first part starting after Midnight EST (Eastern Standard Time). | Randor the Red | February 09, 2012 New Daily Shop!Greeting Heroes (and Villians)! Randor the Red here with the latest news in the world of HeroSmash! First up is the Random Shop! This special shop contains many random and crazy things. Each day the contents will be randomly selected from our database, so be quick to get something you like because we don't even know when it will show up again.
PvP updates: Next is the Battle Poll which already in progress but we will be lowering the total votes required, to speed things up this time around so do not be surprised when the total changes. New and previous Smashdome Champions will now have a badge in their HALdroid and character page to prove their hard work and prestige. When will you earn yours? Several new powers and balance changes have been made. Check out the full list here. PS Always click on your items to see if they have hidden actions to them, you never know until you try!
